is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and New York Medical College.
He performed his internship at Metropolitan Hospital and his residency at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital,
both in New York City. Following his residency, Dr. Isler received a prestigious fellowship in corneal and external
eye disease at Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans, where he subsequently became an instructor in the
Department of Ophthalmology. He has received several honors, including the National Eye Institute Research Fellowship,
and was faculty member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
