Dr. James M. Jochum, M.D.

Now a captain in the U.S. Navy with over 20 years of military service, James M. Jochum, MD, received his undergraduate degree in chemistry and engineering from the University of Maryland and his medical degree from Georgetown University. His post-doctoral training began with an internship at the Naval Hospital at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, FL. He then became the Senior Flight Surgeon as a General Practice Physician in Mayport, FL, for two years. He also completed a residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD.

Throughout his medical and military careers, Dr. Jochum has received many honors and awards, including induction into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society, Navy Commendation Achievement and Meritorious Unit Medals, and a National Defense Service Medal.
