is a board certified refractive surgeon and a graduate of Duke University.
After receiving his M.D. from New York University, he performed his internship and residency at Emory University School
of Medicine and was awarded a fellowship in cornea, external disease and refractive surgery at the Anheuser-Busch Eye Institute.
Dr. Parks has been the recipient of several awards and honors, including graduating Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude, and Tau Beta Pi,
as well as receiving the National Institute of Health Training Research Fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery.
An accomplished author and speaker, Dr. Parks has had several articles published in leading ophthalmic journals.
